Alex Mateo graduated from Lehigh-Carbon Community College in 1991 with an Associate Degree in Applied Sciences. He is bilingual and has worked in multiple large corporation occupational medicine and orthopedic rehabilitation settings including on-site at Air Products, Deka Batteries, Moyer Packing Company, and Hatfield Quality Meats. Mr. Mateo has served several years as the Safety Manager for both beef and pork processing manufacturers. He is a certified ergonomic evaluator and is certified to develop and perform pre-employment post-offer testing. Mr. Mateo and Dr. Parry worked together in 1999 to establish an innovative on-site physical therapy department model, and assisted in a diversified, comprehensive, and coordinated delivery of industrial medicine and rehabilitation care. Mr. Mateo also enjoyed a distinguished military career serving as a member of the US Army in an active and reserves capacity for 24 years, retiring with the rank of first sergeant. Mr. Mateo currently serves as President of Industry Health Solutions.
