Lisa Becker is a Manager at Pinion within the firm’s sustainability division. Lisa is focused on serving U.S. and global ag producers, processors, food companies, and ag industry associations as they navigate the development and implementation of robust sustainability programs. With transparency and reliability of data being paramount, Lisa’s credentials as a CPA bring rigor to sustainability strategies built on capturing and managing data in a credible way. She combines her skills in accounting, business advising, and strategic planning with her passion for working within ecological systems to drive resiliency within our food system.

Lisa has expertise in applying the Greenhouse Gas Protocol standards and guidance for GHG accounting, setting science-based targets following SBTi requirements, and reporting in alignment with various global frameworks including GRI, SASB, TCFD, and IFRS. She is a lead verifier for California’s Low Carbon Fuel Standard and a trained service provider for The Sustainability Consortium’s THESIS Program. She earned her M.S. in Accounting and her B.S. in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
