Dylan Johnston is a Senior Sustainability Consultant within Pinion’s sustainability division. He is passionate about helping clients spanning the entire value chain of agriculture, from growers and processors to industry associations find solutions to the environmental, social, and economic challenges they are facing. He utilizes skills in data management, sustainability reporting, project management, and systems thinking to meet client needs while creating lasting value.

Prior to joining Pinion, Dylan completed sustainability work for Leprino Foods Company focusing on reducing GHG emissions, water, and energy use in manufacturing processes and wrote management plans for forestry and agriculture operations. In addition to work in sustainability, Dylan led and managed backcountry expeditions for the Colorado Outward Bound School, developing his leadership and facilitation skills. He earned an MBA and a graduate certificate in Carbon Management from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, CO as well as a BS in Environmental Studies from Warren Wilson College, Asheville, NC.
