Beth McIlquham is an undergraduate student at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls (UWRF) studying Animal Science with an emphasis on meat animals. She grew up on a small beef operation in Chippewa Falls, WI, and hopes to have one of her own one day. At UWRF, Beth is a member of the Animal Welfare Lab and on the Meat Animal Evaluation Team. Currently, she works for UW-Madison-Division of Extension as Pierce County 4-H educational program support. Upon graduation from UWRF, Beth plans to pursue a career in education, teaching about and advocating for animals traditionally raised for meat production.
