Katie has dedicated 16 years to Tyson Foods, where she has played a pivotal role in conducting all Animal Welfare internal audits for Tyson Beef, pork, and sow harvest facilities. She is a part of the Food Safety Innovation team with roles in regulatory compliance, innovation projects, as well as the animal welfare role.

Her expertise is recognized through PAACO certification, underscoring her commitment to maintaining high standards in animal welfare practices. Currently, Katie is advancing her academic journey as a senior at Oregon State University's E-campus, working towards a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science. This educational pursuit complements her extensive professional experience, equipping her with a robust foundation in agricultural principles and practices.
