Lyndsey Jones is the Corporate Humane Handling Manager for the JBS Pork Division where she is based out of Marshalltown, IA. In this role, Lyndsey is responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of animal welfare programs for the five JBS pork facilities. She also works with producers and retailers to ensure compliance of animal welfare standards throughout their supply chain. Lyndsey participates in several animal welfare committees within the industry. She has been on the NAMI Animal Welfare Committee for 10 years and previously served as a co-chair. She's also a member of the Trust in Animal Protein working group.
Lyndsey earned her Master of Science degree in Animal Behavior and Well-Being from Purdue University in 2010, where her researched was focused on housing preferences of sows during gestation. In 2005 she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Purdue University. She is passionate about her career in animal welfare and balances work life with raising four amazing daughters.
