Mark McInnes has been at Maple Leaf Foods since 2020 as a National Sanitation Manager. With a master's degree in chemistry (Trent University) and a professional certificate in Infection Prevention and Control, prior to joining Maple Leaf Foods, Mark spent several years as research chemist, where he developed cleaners and disinfectants for various industries as well as inventing and developing an optical surface imaging technology designed to enhance understanding of environmental microbial contamination. In his current role, he provides Sanitation and EMP technical support to a diverse plant network including hatcheries, harvest plants, and RTE facilities.
