Dr. Jeyam Subbiah is Professor and Director for Center for Scalable & Intelligent Automation in Poultry Processing. His research interest includes advanced food manufacturing, food safety engineering, predictive microbiology, imaging for predicting food quality and detecting foreign materials, multiphysics modeling, and food sustainability. From 2019-2024, he served as the department head of food science. Previously, he served as Kenneth E. Morrison Distinguished Professor of Food Engineering with joint appointments in the Department of Food Science & Technology and Biological Systems Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
