Dr. Jessie Vipham is an Associate Professor in the Department of Animal Sciences and Industry at Kansas
State University, specializing in food safety and food security. Her research aims to enhance global
understanding of foodborne diseases and their public health impacts, with a particular focus on Salmonella.
Dr. Vipham’s work explores the complexities of food value chains, identifying effective, scalable strategies
