In his role as Technical Development Director, Felix focuses on coordinating the advancement of technical knowledge across CFS including supporting troubleshooting and mitigation of food safety challenges with customers. He seeks to identify challenges to food safety and food quality in order to identify root causes and propose solution sets.

During the course of his career, Felix specialized in managing and developing sanitation programs in various USDA and FDA plants along with International based facilities. Felix has gained additional sanitation and food safety expertise at Kraft Foods as a Corporate Sanitation Specialist, and as a Corporate Associate Principal of Product Protection, Sanitation, and Hygienic Design along with gaining valuable experience working in sanitation & quality director roles for Sugar Creek Packing Company. In these roles, he supported a variety of food-processing facilities, including meat, cheese, and biscuit plants. Felix has additional front line management experience gained in various quality, production, and sanitation roles within meat processing, frozen food, and within bakeries as well.

Felix has gained significant experience on Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) improvement to increase sanitation effectiveness and efficiency. This approach has enabled plants to improve productivity and sustainability while developing, implementing, and supporting a large variety of sanitation and food safety programs.
