Dr. Gabby Eddings is originally from Washington state, where she graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Sciences in 2011. She continued her education on The Palouse, earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. Dr. Eddings joined USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service after earning her DVM as a Supervisory Public Health Veterinarian (SPHV) in the Denver District following her Pathways internship with the agency during veterinary school. In 2017, Dr. Eddings served as the Frontline Supervisor for the Boise, Idaho circuit until 2020, when assumed her role with OFO Regulatory Operations as a Veterinary Medical Officer. She obtained her board certification in veterinary preventative medicine in 2022 as a Diplomat of the American College of Veterinary Preventative Medicine. Dr. Eddings assumed her role as the District Manager of the Alameda District in December of 2023 and is currently an acting Executive Associate for Regulatory Operations for Office of Field Operations.
