David has been a senior executive with Pratt Industries for 17 years. Pratt is America’s fifth largest corrugated packaging company and the world’s largest, privately held producer of 100% recycled containerboard headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. During his tenure, David has served as Vice-President of Sales & Marketing, Chief Operating Officer, and is presently Chief Commercial Officer. Prior to joining Pratt, David worked for Sonoco Products Company for 24 years where he last ran their North American Sales. David has been recognized for his innovative strategies with talent management, solution-focused sales methodologies, and aggressive profitable sales growth. David has a B.S. degree in Industrial Management from Clemson University.

Shawn State has worked in the Corrugated Packaging and Recycling Industries for over 30 years. Prior to joining Pratt’s Recycling Division 17 years ago, Shawn held various General Mgt., Operational Mgt. and Sales Mgt. positions in the Corrugated Packaging Industry. Within the Recycling Division, Shawn has held positions of National Business Development Manager, Division Operations Manager, Division Procurement Manager, and Area VP. Shawn is currently the President of Pratt’s Recycling Division, with his team having responsibility for operations and procurement in 20 recycling facilities across the U.S. Shawn’s team is also responsible for procurement into Pratt’s six 100% Recycled Fiber Paper mills located in Conyers, GA, Shreveport, La., Valparaiso, Indiana, Wapakoneta, Ohio, Henderson, Ky, and Staten Island, NY. These 6 Containerboard mills combined consume over 2.3MM tons of recovered fiber annually.

Director of Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility
Zach Tucker is a 4th generation family member of Maple Leaf Farms, Inc., a global leader in duck production and breeding. Zach has been at Maple Leaf full-time for over eleven years overseeing roles in various areas including animal performance research, biosecurity, internal and 3rd -party audit execution, and animal well-being programs as the Audit and Research Manager. After this role, he served as the Director of QA Communication and Compliance where he acted as a liaison between departments ushering in process improvement and enhanced communication channels. In addition, he directed all product labeling and regulatory compliance. Next, he joined Human Resources as the Retention and Efficiency Manager overseeing retention and internal development efforts for the company. Zach is currently the Director of Sustainability & Corporate Social Responsibility. In this role he directs Maple Leaf’s ESG related efforts. Zach also sits on the Family Council and is the Philanthropy Committee Chair acting as the main point of contact for charitable giving and philanthropy between Maple Leaf, the community, and beyond. He will also sits on the Maple Leaf Board of Directors. Zach is a two-time graduate of Purdue University with a B.S. in Animal Agribusiness and an M.S. in Agricultural Economics. He also received an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. Zach and his wife, Gabriella, have two daughters named Penelope (4) and Arianna (2), who are the first members of Maple Leaf’s 5th generation.

Joe Lennon is the Director of Strategic Sourcing of Kent Quality Foods. With over 30 years of leadership experience, Joe plays a pivotal role in overseeing day-to-day supply chain operations, and optimizing vendor relationships to drive strategic growth initiatives across the organization. Prior to joining Kent, Joe held a variety of leadership roles in industries including public accounting, food manufacturing, automotive, and lighting sectors. Joe is a graduate of Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business with a B.S. in Accounting.

Lorie has been at SugarCreek for almost 13 years, initially focused on driving environmental compliance and the creation of their corporate sustainability program. She has driven the strategy of shifting SugarCreek’s sustainability plan from internally driven programs to alignment with the goals of their customers, the meat industry and the larger global effort. Being in the environmental field for 26 years has allowed her to witness and take part in the evolution of sustainability in business and industry.
