Dr. Lucy Anthenill served in FSIS humane slaughter policy and enforcement for 13 years as a District Veterinary Medical Specialist (DVMS) for the Dallas, Denver, and Alameda Districts, and as the Humane Handling Enforcement Coordinator in Washington DC USDA Headquarters. Outside of her time in government service, Dr. Anthenill completed a residency and PhD in veterinary pathology, worked in diagnostic laboratories and mixed animal clinical practice. Currently, she is working in corporate small animal medicine in Northern CA and consults in humane policy and enforcement for the slaughter industry.
