The Meat Foundation was formed in 2024 by merging two foundations: the Foundation for Meat and Poultry Research and Education and the North American Meat Institute Scholarship Foundation. This merger combines their research, education, and scholarship expertise to support the meat industry in food safety, nutrition, and animal welfare.
