David Miniat serves as the Chairman and CEO of the Miniat Companies, Inc., a fourth-generation family held business that is more than 100 years old. Within the Miniat portfolio of companies is Ed Miniat LLC, a leader and pioneer in the cooked meat industry, and South Chicago Packing LLC, the nation’s premier refiner of edible animal fats. The Companies partner with the most recognized restaurant and food brands in the country.
David holds a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences from Colorado State University, an MBA from Keller Graduate School, and continues his educational pursuits through professional development programs that focus on leadership, family business, and governance through Loyola University Chicago, Kellogg School of Management, and Harvard Business School.
