Confident communication takes everybody working together, and in advance of a situation, to ensure business continuity through a food safety crisis. Even non-communicators can make or break a response and play a critical role in projecting safety confidence in non-crisis times through regular advocacy efforts. Participants in this session will:
• Recognize the difference between good and bad communication in a crisis
• Learn the principles of good crisis response communication
• Identify next steps they can take to be more prepared for crisis communication
• Develop their own personal food safety advocacy statement
